Zoe Havering ACP

In the short story The Mystery of Hunter's Lodge, Zoe Havering (née Crabb) was the wife of Roger Havering. She was formerly Zoe Crabb, the fourth daughter of William Crabb. Hastings also recalled that she was an actress who called herself Zoe Carrisbrook and who used to perform at the Frivolity theatre.

Poirot would later use her stage background to unmask Zoe and the manner in which she murdered Harrington Pace. Even so, there was not enough evidence to convict her or her accomplice. It is left to natural justice to run its course as she and Roger died in an aircrash shortly after.

Portrayals[]

Zoe Havering is played by Diana Kent in the film adaptation of the original story in Series 3 of ITV's Agatha Christie's Poirot.
