In the novel Peril at End House, Vyse, Trevannion & Wynnard is the law firm handling the affairs of Nick Buckley. Her cousin, Charles Vyse, is one of the partners of the firm. The premises of the firm are on the main street of the town of St. Loo.

In the ITV 1990 adaptation of Peril at End House one of the doors of the Life Boat Station on Union Street, Salcombe is used as the filming location of the external entrance of the firm. A name plate near the door gives the full names of the Vyse's other partners (which are not given in the book): "James Trevannion" and "Henry Vynnard".
