In the short story The Unbreakable Alibi, Vera Drake is the identical twin sister of Una Drake. She arrived in London the day before Una and Montgomery Jones made the bet. Vera travelled to Torquay and stayed at the Castle Hotel under the name of Una Drake to help her sister establish the alibi.
