In Le Crime est notre affaire the 2008 French adaptation by Pascal Thomas of 4.50 from Paddington, Valérie Valois is a teenage girl who is the parallel of James Stoddart-West in the original novel. Valérie is portrayed by Kym Thiriot.
Valérie is a good friend of Alexie Charpentier and has come to spend the Christmas holidays with Alexie's family at the chateau "Le vallée des loups". Like James, Valérie's mother Madame Valois would later turn out to have a backstory significant to the plot.
