Tom Adams
Tom Adams (1926-2019) was a British illustrator, known for his illustrations on the covers of paperback editions of Agatha Christie books.
In 1962 he was asked to submit a draft for a cover to the novel A Murder is Announced. He made covers for Agatha Christie novels for more than 20 years. Since the British and American publishers had different tastes, he often ended up making different illustrations for the British and American editions.
