Agatha Christie Wiki

Tite Street is an actual street in Chelsea, London. In the late 19th century, it was a desired and fashionable address for the artistic types.[1]

Tite Street in works by Agatha Christie[]

In the novel Why Didn't They Ask Evans?, Frankie Derwent and Bobby Jones are looking up the name "Rivington" in a telephone book. They decide that the Rivingtons in Tite Street and also in Onslow Square look the most plausible and Frankie sends Bobby first to Tite Street. This happened to be the home of Edith and Hubert Rivington. Bobby posed as the junior partner in a firm of solicitors and spoke to Mrs Rivington.
