In the standalone novel And Then There Were None, Thomas Rogers was a butler, the husband of Ethel Rogers. He and his wife had been employed as staff by the Owens. He is described as a "respectable, grey haired tall lank man". Prior to his employment at Soldier Island, he caused the death of elderly spinster Jennifer Brady with the help of his wife, thus witholding her medicine to collect an inheritance.

He was killed with an axe, while he was chopping wood. He was the fourth guest to die in the novel.
