The Stranger is an adaptation made by Agatha Christie, of her short story Philomel Cottage. This adaptation was made before the 1936 stage play Love from a Stranger adapted by Frank Vosper.
Plot summary
Enid rejects her fiancé for newcomer Gerald and moves to a remote country cottage with him – where a dark and terrible climax takes place.
