The Secret Adversary is a 1983 feature-length television adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel with the same name. It was directed by Tony Wharmby with screenplay by Pat Sandys and first broadcast on 9 )ct 1983. Although it was followed the next week by the first episode of Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime, The Secret Adversary is not considered a part of that series. It features the same lead actors James Warwick and Francesca Annis and can be thought of as a prequel.
