The Mill House is a Grade-II listed house in Clewer near Windsor.[1]. It stands on the banks of the Clewer Mill Stream, a backwater of the river Thames. According to wikipedia, a mill has been at this location since the 11th century. Rebuilt in the 17th century after a fire, a mill continued operating there until the 1920s. At some time in the early 1920s, it was the home of Major Ernest Belcher The Christies visited the house several times during period before they departed for their Grand Tour with Major Belcher. Agatha Christie later used the house as inspiration for the Mill House in the novel The Man in the Brown Suit.

In later years the house became famous as the residence of Jimmy Paige of Led Zeppelin and of the actor Michael Caine.
