The Laurels (The Affair of the Pink Pearl)

In the short story The Affair of the Pink Pearl, The Laurels is a house located on Edgeworth Road in Wimbledon. It is the home of Colonel and Mrs Kingston Bruce. The Laurels is described as a big house with gables and turrets, it had "an air of being very newly painted" and was surrounded with neat flower beds filled with scarlet geraniums.
