The Gazette (or the Montreal Gazette) is a Canadian newspaper circulating in the Montreal area of Quebec. Founded as early as 1778, it began life as a French newspaper but was later sold to new owners and began publishing in English from 1822. Today it continues to operate as the only English newspaper in Montreal. Although it only carried works by Agatha Christie on two occaisions, one of them happens to be a relatively uncoomon serialisation of Destination Unknown, possibly the only Canadian newspaper to do so.
