The Evans

In the novel Destination Unknown, The Evans are a couple who are acquaintances of the nuclear scientist Thomas Betterton and his wife Olive. After Thomas Betterton disappeared, British security agent Mr Jessop wanted wanted details of Thomas' social life. Olive told him that she and Thomas played bridge with Dr Evans and his wife once or twice a week.
