In Un meurtre en sommeil, the French Télévisions film adaptation of Agatha Christie's Sleeping Murder, for the season 1 of the Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie TV series, Suzanne Lebloc is the wife of handyman/gardener Lucien Lebloc. She can be considered a parallel of Edie Pagett in the original novel. Suzanne Lebloc is portrayed by Florence Bisiaux.
Although Suzanne is not a cook like Edie, she did work at the same house as Séverina Patrominio, the Lily Kimble parallel, some fifteen years before the events in the episode. Her employer were the Poliakovs, the parallels of the Hallidays. Just like in the original, when the mistress of the house, Hélène Poliakov disappeared, Séverina shared her suspicions with Suzanne. She told Suzanne that she believed that Hélène Poliakov had not gone away but that her husband had killed her. Séverina also told Suzanne that the clothes which Hélène supposedly packed and took away were all wrong--they were winter clothes when the season was summer.
Early in the episode Séverina comes to visit Suzanne and her husband Lucien. Her purpose was more to do with Lucien. Apparently Séverina had been blackmailing the killer of Hélène successfully for the last fifteen years but that she had to come from Lyon to the north of France to sort out some things. What these things were is not revealed in the episode. But she tells Lucien she wants him to know what she knows, as a form of insurance, just in case something happens to her. In this adaptation Séverina is killed quite early on. Lucien then uses what he learnt from Séverina to blackmail the killer and he is himself killed. Towards the end of the episode, Suzanne also calls the killer to blackmail him, saying she listened through the keyhole to Lucien talking. This naturally leads to Suzanne being killed shortly thereafter.
