Of several magazines which have been published under the title Suspense, the one of relevance to Agatha Christie is the one published by Amalgamated Press in 1958 (the company was renamed Fleetway Publications in Sep 1959). The magazine was intended as a companion to another magazine Argosy (U.K. edition). Suspense lasted for 32 monthly issues before being absorbed by Argosy. The first issue was Aug 1958 and the last Apr 1961. The magazine featured original stories by leading writers of crime fiction but it the case of Agatha Christie, it carried reprints of stories which had already been published elsewhere.
