Stella (Problem at Pollensa Bay)

In the short story Problem at Pollensa Bay, Stella is the sister of Betty Gregg. She is married to Hans, a Dutch artist of the "modern set". They live in Pollensa in a small dilapidated villa set a little way back from the sea. As Parker Pyne observed, they lead a life of refreshing simplicity with house which is sparsely furnished with bare necessities.
