In the novel Sleeping Murder, St Monica's Nursing Home is a nursing home in or near Dillmouth. When Gwenda Reed had a strange feeling and asked if anyone had died at Hillside, Mrs Hengrave replied that her husband Major Hengrave had died at St Monica's.
