Skelton was a non-canonical character who was created for the film adaptation of Triangle at Rhodes in Series 1 of ITV's Agatha Christie's Poirot. It is difficult to discern which character this is as no one is addressed by this name in the dialogue. However there is a druggist who has an extensive speaking part in the episode and this could be Skelton. When Poirot was denied all facilities by the Italian authorities and so was unable to investigate the murder of Valentine Chantry, Major Barnes told him that the "forensic officer" was a friend of his and so introduced him to Skelton. Skelton told Poirot that the poison used was a traditional local Rhodian remedy called vilitilio occius, prepared from the venom of the horned viper. It could not be purchased from a pharmacy, and most likely came from a druggist or quack in the old town.

Skelton was played by Anthony Benson. This character does not occur in the original story.
