In the novel Murder on the Orient Express, Sir Henry Tomlinson is a former employer of Edward Masterman. Masterman entered into the employment if Sir Henry after the tragedy of the Armstrong family, and worked in his home at Grosvenor Square. When Sir Henry decided to go to East Africa, the employment was ended.
