Simmons

In the novel The Hollow, Simmons is a housemaid at The Hollow. At the beginning of the novel, she informed Gudgeon the butler that the forgetful Lady Angkatell had burnt out yet another kettle in the bathroom. Like many of the other domestic staff in the house, she was not in favour of having any dealings with the police and agreed with the principle that one should tell them as little as possible.
