After Atlas helped Poirot recover the Borgias goblet and receives ten pounds as reward, he wonders which horse he should bet on the next day. He considers Working Lad and Sheila Boyne for whom he could get odds of 7 to 1. But in the end takes Poirot's advice and goes for a horse named Hercules.
