In the short story Mr Eastwood's Adventure, Seamark is the valet of the writer Anthony Eastwood who lived at 48 Brandenburg Mansions.
On the day of the events in the story, Seamark had his day off. While this was unfortunate because he was not available to confirm his employer's identity to the police, Eastwood considered this just as well, as the fewer witnesses to a potentially embarrassing episode, the better.
