Sam Wanamaker was an American actor, working in England for a very long time. He played a part in the 1978 adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel Death on the Nile.
He was also the father of actress Zoë Wanamaker, who is famous for playing Ariadne Oliver in the television series Agatha Christie's Poirot.
