Ronald Arbuthnott Knox (1888 – 1957) was an English Catholic priest, theologian and author of detective stories. In 1929 he codified ten rules of detective fiction, known as the “Ten Commandments”.
He was a member of the Detection Club, and contributed to their books Behind the Screen and The Floating Admiral.
