Robert Graves (1895 – 1985) was an English poet, historical novelist and critic.[1] From 1940 to 1945 Graves lived at Vale House in Galmpton, Torbay. Greenway is historically considered as part of Galmpton.[2] The 1944 Agatha Christie novel Towards Zero is dedicated to Robert Graves. He also signed the petition that resulted in the “Agatha Christie indult”.
