In the short story The Manhood of Edward Robinson, Ritson's is a London nightclub for the rich and famous. "Anyone who was anyone turned up at Ritson's sooner or later." Lady Noreen Elliot takes Edward Robinson there, believing that he is Edward Champneys in order to fulfil a condition of a bet she had made.
In the 1982 adaptation, Edward and Noreen went to Café de Paris.
