Richard Attenborough (29 August 1923 – 24 August 2014) was an English actor. He and his wife, Sheila Sim, appeared in the original cast of the stage play The Mousetrap in 1952. He played the part of Detective Sergeant Trotter.

In 1953 he played Tommy Beresford, and his wife played Tuppence, in the 1953 radio series Partners in Crime.

He played Judge Cannon in And Then There Were None in 1974.
