Portia Bickerstaff is a non-canonical character created for the adaptation of the short story The Mystery of the Blue Jar, the seventh episode of the Thames Television series The Agatha Christie Hour. Portia is a distant cousin of Jack Hartington, and came back from holiday with Jack's aunt “Mags”. Portia is the Surrey ladies champion in golf.
