In the Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie episode called Murder Party and adapted from the Marple novel A Murder is Announced, Odette is the parallel of Dora Bunner.
Like Dora, Odette is a childhood friend of the Salvan sisters and came to live at the Salvan ranch and later met her death in the same way. She was muddled just like Dora and unreliable in her ability to keep a secret. While conversing with Alice Avril, she mentioned that "Lottie" had a hard life. This sounded strange to Alice because from all indications, Leticia Salvan seemed to have everything going for her. Secondly, as Alice would learn later from Commissaire Laurence, the correct nickname for Leticia should be "Lettie". However, in this adaptation, Odette's compromising conversation with Alice was not overheard.
Unique to this adaptation, Odette had a hobby of painting. Laurence commented that her works were not very good. Her horses looked like giraffes and her portraits lacked perspective. However, among her paintings was one of a woman with a disfigurement on her neck caused by goitre. On the back was the name "Lottie". This was a major break for the investigation as it revealed the nature of the disfigurement suffered by Charlotte Salvan.
The character of Odette is played by Blandine Pélissier.
