In the novel Taken at the Flood, Oastshire is a fictitious county in England where Warmsley Vale and Warmsley Heath are situated.
Since Warmsley Vale is said to be twenty-eight miles away from London and travellers to the capital arrive at Victoria Station, it can be assumed that Oastshire is, in fact, Kent.[1]
