In the stage play The Unexpected Guest, Nurse Warburton is a hospital nurse. Some two years before the events in the plot, she was travelling in a car with Richard Warwick when he hit a young son of John MacGregor. She told police that she estimated that the car was only travelling at between twenty and twenty-five miles per hour. Her testimony led to Warwick being exonerated.
