Nigel Chapman (Hickory Dickory Dock, Agatha Christie's Poirot, 1995)

In the novel Hickory Dickory Dock, Nigel Chapman (real name Nigel Stanley) is a student resident at Hickory Road. He studies Medieval History and Italian at London University. At some point in the past, he had been a student at Cambridge and had danced with Celia Austin during May Week (a large scale ball organised by Cambridge Colleges in May). At the time of the events in the book, Nigel was about twenty-five.

He had murdered his mother when he was younger. He also murdered Celia Austin, Patricia Lane and Mrs Nicoletis.

In Pension Vanilos, the France Télévisions and Escazal Films adaptation of the novel, the parallel character is Jean-Baptiste Millet.
