Agatha Christie Wiki

In Murder Party, the French Télévisions film adaptation of Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced, for the Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie TV series, Nadine Combet is a distant cousin of Leticia Salvan who live in Argentina and who was the mother of Marcel Combet and his sister Antoinette. Towards the end of the show Nadine wrote a letter to Leticia informing her that her two children hoped to be able to visit Leticia the following year. This letter was not delivered to Leticia as it was collected from the postman by Henriette Parisot, who never passed it on. It is possible that Henriette wanted to give the colourful stamp to Greenblat, who later found the letter and passed it on to commissaire Laurence. The letter was a major breakthrough in the investigation as it proved that the two young people living with Leticia at the ranch were not the real Marcel and Antoinette but rather two imposters.

Nadine is not seen on screen in the episode. The parallel character in the original novel is Elinor Simmons.
