Murder on the Nile is a 1950 episode of the television show Kraft Television Theatre. The production was based on the Agatha Christie stageplay Murder on the Nile which her had herself adapted from her novel Death on the Nile. The TV show was produced by the J. Walter Thompson Company for Kraft Foods and first broadcast on NBC on 12 July 1950. Like Christie's stageplay, Poirot is removed and the lead character is Canon Pennefather. This is one of the earliest TV productions of Agatha Christie's stories which still survives although it is in an archive and is not publicly available.[1][2]
