In the novel At Bertram's Hotel, The Honourable Mrs Saunders is a guest at Bertram's Hotel. She lives in Lyme Regis. According to Miss Gorringe, she always stays in Room 19 at Bertram's Hotel.
At the beginning of the novel, Canon Pennyfather was given Room 19, as he was expected to check out before Mrs Saunders arrived. However, when he went missing, they had to vacate his belongings from the room, so that Mrs Saunders could check in.
