Mrs Mitchinson is a character created for BBC Radio's 1995 adaptation of A Pocket Full of Rye. She is the wife of the bank manager, and one day she said to much. Jennifer Fortescue reminded Miss Marple of Mrs Mitchinson.
In the original novel the bank manager's wife is named Mrs Emmett.
