Mrs Hubbard in Agatha Christie's Poirot

In the novel Hickory Dickory Dock, Mrs Hubbard (née Lemon) is Miss Lemon’s sister and the warden of the Hickory Road student hostel. She had spent much of her life in Singapore, where her husband worked in the rubber business, but moved back to England when she became widowed.

In the short story The Mystery of the Spanish Chest, Miss Lemon mentions that her sister owns a large chest where she keeps her household linen. It is not known if this is intended to be Mrs Hubbard.

In the 1995 ITV adaptation Mrs Hubbard is portrayed by actress Sarah Badel. The character is given the christian name Florence.
