Mrs Forrester

In the novel The Hollow, Mrs Forrester is one of Dr Christow's patients who lives on Park Lane Court. Christow thinks she is tiresome, a woman with too much money and too much time to think about her ailments. On seeing her, he would always go through the motions of listening, asking questions, reasuring her and writing out a prescription for some expensive proprietary medicine and she would leave the clinic feeling better.
