Mrs Finderson is a non-canonical character created for the ITV 2006 adaptation of the novel Sleeping Murder. She used to own the house which the "Funnybones" entertainment troupe used as digs during their season at Dillmouth in the 1930s. After the second world war, "Dickie" Erskine and his wife Janet, the leaders of the troupe bought over the house and ran it as a boarding house or small hotel named "Dunlaughin".
Mrs Finderson does not appear on screen and is mentioned only. Her name is perhaps a nod to Mrs Findeyson, one of the original owners of Hillside in the original novel.
