Mrs Ellis

In the novel Cat Among the Pigeons, Mrs Ellis is the cook of Henry and Joan Sutcliffe. According to Joan, Mrs Ellis is quite deaf, and can hardly stand up. She and the part-time maid Miss Bardwell did not hear anything when the house was broken into.
