Mrs Adams is a character created for BBC's 1987 adaptation of Nemesis. She is the cook employed by Clotilde Bradbury-Scott and her sisters at the Old Manor House at Abbey Ducis. According to Clotilde, she is the only servant they could afford to employ. Mrs Adams is seen serving at the table or working in the kitchen in some scenes but she does not have a speaking part and the actress who portrayed her is not credited. In the original novel, the Bradbury-Scotts did not have a cook but employed a daily woman named Janet.
