Mr Trumper was a non-canonical character who was created for the film adaptation of How Does Your Garden Grow? in Series 3 of ITV's Agatha Christie's Poirot. Mr Trumper was a hairdresser and perfumer who sold Poirot "a discreet manly cologne" which Hastings was allergic to.

Mr Trumper was insistent and impatient for Poirot to settle his account for the purchase of the perfume. Hastings in the end paid it off in cash, which Miss Lemon was very displeased with him for doing so. The perfume cost five guineas, an amount which, according to Hastings, was enough to pay for all of Poirot's hair cuts for a year.

Mr Trumper was played by Trevor Danby. His shopfront used for the filming is the actual location of Geo. F Trumper at 9 Curzon Street London. This character does not occur in the the original story.
