In the Harley Quin short story The World's End, Mr Tomlinson is a retired Indian judge who was staying at the same hotel in Corsica as the Duchess of Leith and Mr Satterthwaite. The Duchess wanted an excursion to see the sights but was too miserly to rent a car. Noticing that Mr Tomlinson drove a four seater car, the Duchess prevailed upon him to join the party. Mr Tomlinson's knowledge of things Indian would prove to be an essential plot element in the story.
