In the short story The Gate of Baghdad, Mr Pentemian is a young Armenian man travelling with his mother Madame Pentemian from Damascus to Baghdad on the same bus as Parker Pyne.
Mr Pentemian was not featured in the radio dramatization of the story on BBC Radio 4.
