Mr Cameron was a non-canonical character who was created for the television adaptation of The Adventure of the Clapham Cook in Season 1 of ITV's Agatha Christie's Poirot. Mr Cameron was a manager of the Belgravia and National Bank from which ninety thousand pounds of negotiable securities had been stolen. Poirot called on him to seek background information on bank employees Mr Simpson and Mr Davis.
Mr Cameron was played in the film Richard Bebb. This character does not exist in the original story. Poirot never visited a bank. In the original, securities were stolen but the bank is not named and the value of the securities is fifteen thousand and not ninety thousand.
