Mr Bickerstaff is a non-canonical character created for the 1988 film adaptation of Appointment with Death. He is a British official whom the governor of Palestine sent to received Lady Westholme when her ship arrived at Jaffa port. He only has a brief line when he takes Lady Westholme to tour the Wailing Wall at Jerusalem. Lady Westholme stepped into the men's section of the wall in order to have her photo taken and Bickerstaff had to remind her that the section was for men only. Bickerstaff is portrayed by Rupert Horrox. The credits only list him as "British official" but Colonel Carbury refers to him by name.
