In the novel Death in the Clouds, Mitchell & Smith is a shop on Charing Cross Road. Poirot had noticed that Daniel Clancy had a blowpipe such as was found at the crime scene. Asked about this, Clacy said might have bought his blowpipe at Absolom's, or perhaps at Mitchell & Smith, he was not quite sure.
