In the novel Third Girl, Miss Jacobs is an elderly woman who occupies a flat on the 6th floor next to No. 67 Borodene Mansions which is the flat of Claudia, Frances Cary and Norma Restarick. Frances ran to Miss Jacobs flat after discovering the body of David Baker. After calming Frances, Miss Jacob went over to No. 67 and found Norma there holding a knife. Miss Jacobs later gave a statement to Sergeant Conolly and was questioned again by Chief Inspector Neele.
