In the Le crime de Noël episode of TV series Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie, Mathilde is a woman who runs the carousel at the Christmas market. She gives commissaire Laurence important leads to the murder. First, she identifies the victim as Hubert Dopagne, the owner of a brasserie nearby and gives some background on his relationship with his son Geoffroy Dopagne and daughter-in-law Mireiile. Later she also fills the commissaire in on some background concerning Hubert. According to Mathilde, Hubert had seduced a waitress and then rejected her. The waitress got pregnant, gave birth and then committed suicide. She gave the waitress's name as "Martine Vernet". Mathilde is portrayed by Peroua Cherry.
