Mary Winifrid Smith (née Parker) (1904–1992) was a British painter. She was married to Assyriologist Sidney Smith and had a son. For several years the couple lived in Baghdad, where Sidney was the Director of the Iraq Museum. While there they became friends with Agatha Christie and Max Mallowan, who was a colleague of Sidney.

Mary remained friends with Agatha long after Max and Sidney went their different ways professionally, and Christie dedicated her novel The Moving Finger to the pair. Mary gifted her painting New Street, Baghdad to Agatha. The painting was one of the objects included when Greenway and its contents were donated to the National Trust in 2000. Max Mallowan mentions the painting in his memoirs.
